You will spearhead the daily production activities, playing a pivotal role not only in managing a team of dedicated employees but also overseeing site procurement, asset control, and administration duties. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the seamless execution of various responsibilities, including supervising, training, and motivating employees to foster a productive and cohesive team environment; maintaining accurate attendance records and proactively addressing any absenteeism; collaborating with HR; identifying training needs and conducting training sessions for team members; upholding compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and applicable labour laws; playing an active role in site administration, reporting, and maintaining impeccable standards; overseeing stock management; and ensuring proper functioning of emergency equipment and conducting preventative maintenance planning.

What do you need to bring to the table to ensure your qualification and skillset are used to their full potential?

A minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in a production environment, preferably within the agriculture or FMCG sectors. Do you have expertise and knowledge of maize production and a minimum Matric or NQF Level 4 qualification? Excellent!

We need someone with impeccable accuracy and attention to detail, complemented by logical thinking. A solutions-driven mind-set that thrives on overcoming challenges. You should also be proficient in people management, with strong communication and reporting skills. Excellent planning and administration capabilities to streamline operations effectively.
