Minister of Higher Education and Training Nobuhle Nkabane has postponed the commencement of the National Student Financial Aid Scheme 2025 online application.
The minister held a joint media conference with NSFAS administrator Freeman Nomvalo to give information about the Ministerial Stakeholder Engagement Programme, which began on Thursday, September 12, 2024, and will end on September 15, 2024.
The stakeholder engagement meetings also provided an introduction for Minister Nkabane and other important players in the higher education sector.
NSFAS offers comprehensive bursaries and student loans to eligible students enrolled in recognized courses at universities and TVET institutions. This includes funds for tuition and registration fees, as well as allowances for food, lodging, and educational materials.
