Job Purpose
To create a market driven differentiated service that builds sustained competitiveness within the Tavern Class of Trade, delivering sustainable growth in brand equity, sales volume, market share, competitive advantage, and corporate reputation.

Planning and Organizing

Customer Development
- Manage and build customer relationships with tavern owners.
In order to establish productive relationships and address customer concerns, each outlet should drive weekly client contacts. - Make sure that all customer master data is entered, up to date, accurate, and maintained.
- Achieve customer sales and volume targets.
- Make sure that every outlet regularly purchases straight from SAB once a week.
- AMPPS Delivery
Complete and impact the AMPPS survey by delivering on each targeted plan: availability, merchandising, pricing, promotions, and space.
Responsibilities:
Merchandising, Price, Promotions and Space
- Monitor volumes per outlet to ensure the 100% availability of important brands and packs through ahead planning.
- Manage stock rotation to ensure 100% availability
- Drive the successful execution of selective merchandising implementation in the consumption and purchase zones as per the Integrated Trade Execution Guidelines (ITEG).
- Negotiate and implement inner and outside pricing communication; capture price priorities, guarantee price point compliance, and carry out the overall price and promotion campaigns throughout the year.
- Manage outlet retention by measuring and monitoring competition shelf space and volume sold, as well as ensuring that brands are effectively positioned to develop volume.
Asset Management
- Manage SAB refrigeration assets by ensuring governance and compliance for the SAB audit.
- Manage SAB assets in the stores, including permanent merchandise and signage.
- Ensure that SAB items are stored in refrigerators as per ITEG.
- Conduct asset verification surveys (Fridges, etc.)
- Assist clients with a model stock system to manage inventory replenishment and reduce stockouts.
- Manage stock rotation and quality
Minimum requirements:
- Diploma or Degree
- Valid unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Local area knowledge is a requirement.
- Ability to operate in a flexible work environment (working on weekends).
- Successful completion of a driver’s assessment test to demonstrate competency before appointment.
