The Building Company General Assistant

The main purpose of the job is to ensure the smooth operation of the business unit with regard to General Assistant functions while adhering to the company policies and procedures. These general assistance activities will be determined by the operational demands of the business units, thus the General Assistant must be able to operate in any area of the business unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clients and drivers with orders that are accurately prepared. Assist in loading and offloading vehicles.
  • To provide prompt and efficient assistance to customers and suppliers with loading and offloading of their vehicles
  • To ensure that yard stock items are neatly packed and accessible
  • Ensure that cars are clean and loaded securely.
  • To provide timely and effective service to customers and suppliers about workshop/joinery.
  • Complete Wash Bay activities accurately
  • Ensure that store shelves, boards, and other stock goods are neatly packed and available for consumers.
  • To maintain and promote the company’s principles and culture.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Product knowledge
