Warehouse Learner – Your Future Position?

We are searching for a Warehouse Learner for our facility in Tulisa Park, South Africa. As a Learner, you will perform basic assignments to handle and maintain the flow of raw materials and finished products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Stock transfer from warehouse to production and vice versa
  • Moving stock into the plant to allow operators to begin compounding.
  • Blending of all overages.
  • Prepare samples for other departments, including FC&A and planning.
  • Blend all stocks in LSI into fixed bins.
  • On a daily basis, replenished fixed bin materials and verify stock levels.
  • Pumping alcohol and other substances into agricultural tanks.
  • Knowledge of using a scanner.
  • Conduct 5s in your work station.
  • Eliminate dangers that can undermine food safety (HACCP) and quality.
  • Comply with allergens management programs
  • Comply with environmental health and safety regulations and requirements.
  • Report incidents and close shaves
  • Prepare returns from liquid and powder production plants to the warehouse using SAP
  • Timely liaison with all departments to resolve discrepancies
  • Validate all master HUs in the LSI region and assign them to the appropriate bin locations.
  • Conduct stock verification and correct all shortfalls with the assistance of a Team Leader.
  • Pick/put away materials in warehouse and production
  • Support Team leader with inventory management and control
  • Investigate PSTD materials and report to the Team Leader
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts in both warehouses and factories.
  • Investigate deviations and compile a report of findings
  • Show active engagement in all workplace improvement efforts (LEAN).
  • Ensure the safe operation of forklifts, drum handling equipment, and pedestrian stackers.
