Introduction
The City of Tshwane invites dynamic and suitably qualified individuals to apply for Administrative Officer Vacancies (X10 Posts) within the Municipal Health Services Section. Job Description:
The appointed candidates will be responsible for rendering a general administrative, operational, logistical, financial, and personal support service. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth running of the department, with responsibilities spanning from document handling to logistical coordination and communication support.
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum Education Requirement: Grade 12 (Matric)
- Experience: At least six months of relevant working experience in administrative support services
- Advantageous: Prior experience in a health-related environment
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer applications and administrative tools
- Screening Requirements: Candidates must undergo vetting and fingerprint verification (at the applicant’s own cost)
- Work Flexibility: Willingness and ability to work shifts and be deployed across various locations in Tshwane as required
Role Responsibilities:
- Managing all incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence
- Ordering and maintaining printing materials and office supplies
- Assisting sub-regions with surveys and audits as required
- Arranging venues and logistics for meetings
- Coordinating invitations and RSVPs for meetings
- Organizing catering services for meetings when necessary
- Forwarding correspondence to appropriate internal and external stakeholders
- Handling photocopies and distributing documents efficiently
- Sorting, organizing, and distributing official letters, memos, and other documents

- Effective communication skills with proficiency in local languages
