Responsibilities

As a Junior Merchandiser, your duties will include:

  • Determine Stock to be Merchandised: Assess the inventory that has to be exhibited on shelves.
  • Draw Stock Requirements: Identify and request stock for merchandising.
  • Check Vintage and Product Quality: Ensure products on the shelf are of the highest quality, with proper rotation and correct price tags.
  • Execute Merchandising Activities: Follow the cycle brief to perform all merchandising tasks effectively.
  • Feedback on Customer Complaints: Address and forward any consumer complaints, inquiries, or requests to the relevant persons.
  • Communicate Product Knowledge: Stay up to date on items and specials so that you can successfully engage with consumers.
  • Record Merchandising Activities: Maintain accurate records of all merchandising actions.
  • Execute Calls as per Call Cycle: Perform the tasks and visits specified in the call cycle.
  • Advise RSM on Out-of-Stock Products: Inform the Regional Sales Manager about any products that are out of stock.
