GUD Holdings Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme 2025
In a brave step to solve South Africa’s youth unemployment issue, GUD Holdings—a well-known maker of automotive filters and lubricants—has collaborated with the Youth Employment Services (YES) Programme to generate life-changing job opportunities for young South Africans. This campaign, part of the larger national YES movement funded by the Presidency and the corporate sector, is aimed at jobless youngsters looking to earn valuable working experience and skills.
Opening Doors for South Africa’s Future Workforce
The GUD Holdings YES Programme provides 12-month fixed-term employment to qualified candidates, placing them in various divisions of the organization to get real-world experience and exposure. While the program is available to all jobless youngsters who satisfy the minimum requirements, applicants with post-matric or university education in the following subjects are especially encouraged to apply:
- Marketing
- Information Technology (IT)
- Business and Operations Management
- Chemistry
These subjects coincide with GUD Holdings’ core business activities and provide a strong foundation for young individuals who want to start careers in fast-paced and innovative sectors..
Who Should Apply?
This programme is intended for young people under the age of 34 who are currently jobless and do not attend school full-time. The candidates must also:
- Be South African citizens
- Possess a valid South African ID
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Be eager to learn and open to mentorship
- Be currently resident in any of the following areas: Botshabelo and Mantsopa in Free State; Johannesburg, East Rand, Cosmo City, and Diepsloot in Gauteng; Pietermaritzburg and Durban in KwaZulu-Natal; and Gqeberha in the Western Cape.
Children of G.U.D. Holdings workers who satisfy the application conditions will be given first priority.
