We are searching for talented, eager young learners to join our Amathuba Learnership programme. The curriculum provides learners with the opportunity to obtain the Wealth Management NQF Level 4 certification and receive on-the-job experience.
The Wealth Management NQF Level 4 certification is recognized and FSP-approved. Participating in our Learnerships opens the door to a variety of career opportunities, including underwriting, financial investment advisors, and insurance brokerage.

What is the Amathuba Learnership?
Calling all matriculants with no work experience. Apply now for the Old Mutual Amathuba Learnership, which will provide you with a wealth management NQF Level 4 qualification that is FSP-recognized and will expose you to a variety of career paths in the business over the course of a year.
About the Programme
- Learners will be assigned a mentor to give advice and guarantee their success in their roles.
- Learners will get business and classroom experience over the course of 12 months.
- Learners will be asked to keep a journal during their learning experience.
- Learners will be exposed to a variety of financial products, laws, and business ethics.
- Students will participate in spectacular Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Collect and perform preliminary analysis of material acquired through interviews and research to aid in the diagnosis of underlying client concerns and problems, as well as the development of singular solutions.
- Carry out a variety of customer support operations, including dealing with complicated or unusual client problems and questions.
- Participate in a community of practice in a specific area of knowledge or consult to begin developing your own expertise.
- Provide basic product/service information and respond to basic customer questions about the product/service.
- Perform basic data entry tasks, including data verification.
- Gather and develop material, best practices, and case studies to record and distribute knowledge.
- Develop and maintain good procedural or technical abilities by taking part in evaluation and development planning activities, as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
- For regular inquiries, ensure that all established standards and regulations are followed.
- Follow a number of obligatory processes to guarantee that work is completed to the appropriate quality standards and/or to comply with external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct.
- Accept changes at work and provide support when asked.
Requirements:
- South African citizens aged between 18-30
- Currently jobless and not pursuing another certification at another educational institution.
- Have not participated in a wealth management NQF4 learnership program previously.
- Passed Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4.
- Obtained the following marks: English (50% or more), an official second language (50% or more), pure math (50% or more), or math literacy (50% or more).
- Able to enter the Amathuba Learnership program in May 2025.
