Job Description

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) offers excellent opportunities in our Manufacturing & Technical department. We are searching for young, talented candidates for Packaging Learnership positions across CCBSA’s many areas. The successful candidate will report directly to the Training Controller.

Coca-Cola Packaging Learnerships

This certification will help the learner’s overall growth in the food and beverage packaging environment by offering recognition, increased mobility, and portability in the fields of beverage production and fast-moving consumer goods. Learners will achieve the National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging, NQF Level 3 Learnership.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

LEARNERSHIP:

The learner will be exposed to:

  • Bottling processes and procedures
  • Safety and housekeeping standards
  • Quality tests and specifications
  • Food handling practices

KEY ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Self-motivated
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to interact well in teams
  • Ability to work effectively in teams

Skills, Experience & Education

  • Grade 12 with Mathematics passed with 40% (NOT Mathematics Literacy) and physical sciences (50%)
  • Two South African Languages passed with 40%
  • Must not have completed the same qualification/learnership in another firm or organization.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be a South African Citizen
  • Must be an Employment Equity candidate
  • Applicants must have been unemployed at the time of appointment.
  • Must be between 18-35 years of age
  • Candidates must be willing to commit to the 12-month learnership program.
