SUMMARY:
A Lodge in Waterberg is looking for a HOUSEKEEPER/COOK to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Candidate Requirements:

• Grade 12 and hospitality qualification (advantage)
• Experience with a lodge/domestic environment
• Must have good communication skills, diligence, able to identify problems and think on their feet
• Must be guest-focused
• Must be able to meet and greet guests, assist with their luggage, make and serve them their tea and coffees, Open  and pour wine for guests and see guests off for departure
• Must be able to clean and upkeep the areas in the lodge 
• Must clean guest’s rooms, adding special touches in the rooms, deep cleaning rooms, bathrooms and staff areas
• Must have good experience in laundry and with laundry products (washing linen and ironing)
• Must have attention to detail 
• Must be able to cook and assist in the food prepping in the kitchen 
• Must be willing and eager to learn – training will be provided 
• Must be willing and able to set, clear and assist with table setting 
• Able to pack and set up for picnics
• Must be able to train junior staff
• Must have good knowledge of health, hygiene and safety regulations and procedures

Package:

• R6-7,5kpm neg depending on experience
• Groceries provided to prepare your own meals
• Pension fund 
• Starting with 10 days on and 4 days off work cycle (negotiable)
