Minimum Requirements for Traffic Officer Learnerships
To be considered for the Traffic Officer Learnerships, applicants must meet the following qualifications and criteria:
- Education: Grade 12 or equivalent
- Qualification: Traffic Diploma
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant traffic enforcement experience
- Driver’s License: Valid Code EB or higher
- Competency: Firearm competency certificate per the Firearms Control Act
- Fitness: Must be physically and medically fit for Traffic Officer duties
- Language: Proficiency in at least two official languages, with English being mandatory
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy
- Criminal Record: Applicants should have no criminal record
- Working Hours: Flexible hours, including emergencies
Traffic Officer Job Responsibilities
As a Traffic Officer, you will help maintain traffic flow and public safety in the municipality. Key duties include:
- Overseeing traffic flow and ensuring public safety
